The arty-eletro-punk girl duo is performing two shows at Reeperbahn Festival 2019! The band is happy to be back to Germany after an important tour in the country last winter, this time to perform at one of Europe’s leading showcase festivals.

Like a perfect mix of Moloko, Le Tigre, and Tune-Yards: the melodic euphoria of the nineties is making out with beats and synthesizers from the eighties, blending disco and punk, party and provocation. Music critics licked their lips in the spring of 2018 when Chiara Castello and Camilla Matley released their debut The Blonde Albumand conquered the European pop scene, including its festival stages. Their talent was also recognized by artists like The Killers, Franz Ferdinand, Wolf Alice, Hurts and Mike Shinoda: all of them wanted the band as opening act for their concerts in Italy over the past two years, giving I’m Not A Blonde the chance to enlarge and enrich their popularity in the indie pop/rock community.

I’m Not a Blonde are set to release their third studio album “Under the Rug” on October 4th, anticipated by the super catchy new single “Not That Girl”.
